Federal Register of Legislation (ComLaw)

The Federal Register of Legislation (the Legislation Register) is the authorised whole-of-government website for Commonwealth legislation and related documents. It contains the full text and details of the lifecycle of individual laws and the relationships between them.

The Legislation Register is managed by the Office of Parliamentary Counsel in accordance with the Legislation Act 2003.

Commonwealth of Australia Gazettes

The Government Notices Gazettes, including Special and Periodic Gazettes, are published by the Attorney-General's Department.The regular Government Notices Gazette is published each Wednesday and contains a range of notices including information about legislation, notices of Australian Government Departments, Courts notices, and other notices required under Commonwealth law.

The Special Gazette normally contains a single notice, and may be published at any time. Special Gazettes published during the week are republished at the end of the next regular Government Notices Gazette.

The Periodic Gazette is published irregularly and may contain multiple notices relating to a specific subject area.
